STATE STANDARD OF THE UNION OF THE SSR

Introduction date 01.07.77

This standard applies to sheets of aluminum and aluminum alloys intended for the needs of the national economy and export.

(Revised edition, Rev. No. 3).

1.1. Sheets are subdivided:

a) according to the method of manufacture:

unclad - without additional designation;

Note . Sheets produced without heat treatment, except for sheets of VD1 grade alloy, are allowed to be annealed;

annealed - M;

Note . Annealed sheets are allowed to be produced without heat treatment if they meet the requirements for annealed sheets in terms of mechanical properties, surface quality and non-flatness. Such sheets are marked with the letter M in brackets - (M);

(Changed edition, Rev. No. 1, 2, 3).

2. ASSORTMENT

2.1. The thickness of the sheets, limit deviations depending on the thickness and width of the sheets and the accuracy of their manufacture must comply with those specified in.

Notes :

1. Limit deviations of sheets annealed and without heat treatment with a thickness of 5 mm or more from alloys of grades AMg3, AMg5 and AMg6 are set to ± 5% of the nominal thickness.

2. In the manufacture of sheets with intermediate thickness dimensions, the maximum deviations in sheet thickness for these dimensions are taken as for the next smaller size.

3. Theoretical mass ( M theor.) one linear meter of a sheet, kg, is calculated by the formula:

where H max. and In max.- the largest limiting dimensions for thickness and width, mm;

N min.and Per min.- the smallest limiting dimensions for thickness and width, mm;

g - density of aluminum alloy, g/cm 3 .

The theoretical weight of one linear meter of a sheet is given in the mandatory () and calculated at a density of 2.85 g / cm 3, which corresponds to the density of aluminum alloys of grades B95, B95-1, B95-2.

To calculate the theoretical mass of sheets from other aluminum alloys, you should use the conversion factors indicated in the reference.
