Salaries in different areas

In the field of IT-technologies, Ukrainians earn an average of 25 thousand UAH. In the aviation industry, the average monthly salary is UAH 24,400. In the pharmaceutical industry, employees receive UAH 10,800 each, while the insurance and finance sector is characterized by salaries of UAH 10,080. per month.

Media employees earn an average of UAH 9,400, and mining industry workers can count on a salary of UAH 7,300.

In the oil industry, the average salary is 6670 UAH, while in the scientific industry people earn 6400 UAH.

Chemical industry workers on average earn 5,800 hryvnias a month, while representatives of wholesale and retail trade do not receive more than 5,700 hryvnias.

In the public administration sector, the salary is 5660 UAH. Representatives of the land transport industry on average earn from 5200 UAH, and workers in the field of mechanical engineering monthly receive from 4900 UAH.

Soldiers with the rank of lieutenant can expect to receive 9500 UAH. If a person goes to the ATO with a similar rank, then his salary will be equal to 15 thousand hryvnias. Lieutenant colonels in units earn from UAH 13,000, and in the ATO zone - from UAH 21,000.

Seafarers working on ships receive some of the highest salaries. But only Ukrainian maritime companies pay not very large sums. Representatives of wholesale and retail trade (sales representatives, cashiers, sales assistants, merchandisers) do not earn more than five to six thousand hryvnias on average.
