The concept of jointly shared experience is introduced as a key to understanding the logic and content of correctional care for autism. This concept defines the source and the main driving force of the formation of the affective sphere during normal ontogenesis. The sequence of formation of the ability for shared experience in the course of successful affective development is described; the manifestations of its deficiency in autism are analyzed. Ways to overcome this deficiency are outlined, the main forms of correctional work aimed at normalizing the mental and social development autistic child.

Game in the correction of childhood autism

The game is considered as the basic form of work with an autistic child. preschool age primary in relation to other occupations. The understanding of the general direction of game correction in autism as a movement "from autostimulation to the side of shared experience" is substantiated. The methods of forming a shared experience in the game with an autistic child are described. Joint reading is presented in the article as a tool for psychological assistance to a child with developmental problems, complementing the possibilities of joint play and drawing.
