This standard applies to potato starch obtained by mechanical processing of potatoes.

Potato starch is intended for use in various industries Food Industry(confectionery, concentrate, meat and dairy, bakery, etc.) as a consumer product, in the chemical and pharmaceutical industry as a filler in tablet medicines and powders, as well as for technical purposes (dextrin production, in textile, paper and other industries).

1. TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS

1.1. Starch must be produced in accordance with the requirements of this standard according to the technological instructions or technological regulations approved in the prescribed manner, in compliance with the norms and rules established by the USSR Ministry of Health.

4.7. A label is glued onto each pack or package (into a film package) or printed directly on one of the sides in a special ink with the designations according to paragraph , except for subparagraphs d and g, as well as the retail price.

It is not allowed to transport starch in wagons, ship holds or motor vehicles together with products with a specific smell, as well as use wagons, holds and motor vehicles in which poisonous or pungent-smelling goods were transported.

It is allowed, in agreement with the consumer, to transport starch in tank cars for the transportation of flour.

4.9. Starch should be stored in a packaged form, in well-ventilated warehouses without foreign smell, not infected with pests of grain stocks.

Bags or boxes with starch are placed on wooden racks. When starch is stored for more than 10 days, the racks are covered with tarpaulin or other means for sheltering from polymer materials of such size that the edges can be closed on the sides of the first row of bags or boxes.

In warehouses where starch is stored, the relative humidity should not exceed 75% .

5 . MANUFACTURER'S WARRANTY

5.1. The manufacturer must ensure that the quality of the starch produced meets the requirements of this standard, provided that the consumer observes the storage and transportation conditions established by the standard.

5.2. Guarantee period storage of starch - 2 years from the date of production.

1.2. For the production of starch, fresh potatoes must be used for processing in accordance with GOST 6014.

1.3. Starch is produced in four varieties: extra, superior, first, second.

1.4. According to organoleptic and physico-chemical indicators, starch must comply with the requirements and standards specified in the table.

2. ACCEPTANCE RULES

3. METHODS OF ANALYSIS

3.1. Sampling - according to GOST 7698, methods of analysis - according to GOST 7698, the presence of metal-magnetic impurities - according to GOST 20239, determination of the mass fraction of heavy metals and arsenic - according to GOST 26927, GOST 26929 - GOST 26934.

4. PACKAGING, LABELING, TRANSPORT AND STORAGE

4.1. Starch is packed in double bags.

Inner new fabric bag according to GOST 30090, or multilayer paper bag (at least four layers) according to GOST 2226; or film liner bag according to GOST 19360.

External fabric bag according to GOST 30090 or flax-jute-lavsan according to normative document. Bags must be of normal strength, new or bags not lower than category III.

In paper bags, after filling them with starch, two inner layers are closed, two outer ones are sewn up by machine or manually, or sealed with starch paste, or tied with twine according to GOST 17308.

Film bags-liners are closed by welding or sealed with polyethylene tape or sewn up by machine or by hand.

Fabric bags are sewn up by machine or manually with cotton yarn according to a regulatory document or linen thread according to GOST 14961, or kapron; when sewing, the bags must have two ears or no ears with a comb height of 8-10 cm. It is allowed to tie the bags with twine in accordance with GOST 17308.

It is allowed to pack starch in four-layer paper bags of the NM brand according to GOST 2226 without additional packaging in fabric bags during transportation only by car at a distance of no more than 350 km. The net weight of starch is not more than 30 kg.

It is allowed to pack starch in a soft disposable container of the MKR-1, OS type or a reusable container of the MKO-1, OS type with a polyethylene liner.

Net weight of starch in a container - no more than 1 ton.

For the chemical and pharmaceutical industry (preparation of medicines in tablet form), starch is packed in double bags:

an inner multi-layer paper bag (at least four layers) according to GOST 2226 or a film liner bag according to GOST 19360;

outer fabric bag according to GOST 19317. New bag or bags not lower than category III.

Net weight of starch in bags is not more than 50 kg.

4.2. Packaging of starch shipped to the Far North and remote areas must be carried out in accordance with GOST 15846 *.

4.3. Starch is packed in small paper containers (packs or bags), in bags made of polyethylene-cellophane or polyethylene film or containers made of other materials approved by the USSR Ministry of Health for packaging. food products, net weight from 250 to 1000 g.

4.5. Transport marking - in accordance with GOST 14192 with the application of the handling sign "Keep away from moisture". Each bag or soft container with starch should have a label made of thick paper on a fabric or knitted base or glued non-woven fabric measuring 70x140 mm. The label is placed with one end into the neck of the bag and stitched simultaneously with the sewing of the bag or glued onto the container. On paper bags with starch without additional packaging in fabric bags, it is allowed to stick a label made of thick paper measuring 100x140 mm.

an inner multi-layer paper bag (at least four layers) according to GOST 2226 or a film liner bag according to GOST 19360;

4.2. Packaging of starch shipped to the Far North and remote areas must be carried out in accordance with GOST 15846.

4.3. Starch is packed in small paper containers (packs or bags), in bags made of polyethylene-cellophane or polyethylene film or containers made of other materials approved by the USSR Ministry of Health for food packaging, with a net weight of 250 to 1000 g.

4.4. Deviations from mass should not exceed, %:

Bundles or packages are placed in plank boxes according to GOST 10131, wooden reusable boxes according to GOST 11354; in corrugated cardboard boxes in accordance with GOST 13511 with a net weight of not more than 30 kg.

Plank and wooden reusable boxes should be lined with one layer of wrapping paper in accordance with GOST 8273.

4.2 - 4.4.

4.4a. Plank boxes must be covered with steel tape in accordance with GOST 3560 or steel wire in accordance with GOST 3282. It is allowed to fasten boxes with corners made of steel strips in accordance with GOST 2364.

4.4b. Corrugated cardboard boxes must be pasted over with paper-based adhesive tape in accordance with GOST 18251 or sewn with metal staples. It is allowed to use polyethylene tape with an adhesive layer in accordance with GOST 20477 or other adhesive tapes approved for use by the USSR Ministry of Health.

4.4a, 4.4b. (Introduced additionally, Amendment No. 3).

4.5. Transport marking - in accordance with GOST 14192 with the application of the handling sign "Afraid of dampness". Each bag or soft container with starch should have a label made of thick paper on a fabric or knitted basis or an adhesive non-woven fabric measuring 70 × 140 mm. The label is placed with one end into the neck of the bag and stitched simultaneously with the sewing of the bag or glued onto the container. On paper bags with starch without additional packaging in fabric bags, it is allowed to stick a label made of thick paper measuring 100 × 140 mm.

There should be a paper label on the box.

4.6. The labels and labels on shipping containers must bear the following designations:

a) the name of the organization whose system includes the manufacturer, and the trademark;

b) the name of the manufacturer and its location;

c) product name and variety;

d) batch number;

e) net weight;

e) date of production;

g) the number of packaging units (for starch in packs or bags);

h) the designation of this standard; i) shelf life.

4.7. A label is glued on each pack or package (put into a film bag) or printed directly on one of the sides with a special ink with the designations according to clause 4.6, except for subparagraphs d and g, as well as the retail price.

4.8. Starch is transported by all types of transport in covered vehicles, as well as in containers in accordance with the rules for the carriage of goods in force for this type of transport.

It is not allowed to transport starch in wagons, ship holds or motor vehicles together with products with a specific smell, as well as use wagons, holds and motor vehicles in which poisonous or pungent-smelling goods were transported.

It is allowed, in agreement with the consumer, to transport starch in tank cars for the transportation of flour.

4.9. Starch should be stored in a packaged form, in well-ventilated warehouses without foreign smell, not infected with pests of grain stocks.

Bags or boxes with starch are placed on wooden racks. When storing starch for more than 10 days. the racks are covered with a tarpaulin or other means of covering made of polymeric materials of such a size that the edges can be closed on the sides of the first row of bags or boxes.

In warehouses where starch is stored, the relative humidity should not exceed 75 % .

5. MANUFACTURER WARRANTY

5.1. The manufacturer must ensure that the quality of the produced starch meets the requirements of this standard, provided that the consumer observes the storage and transportation conditions established by the standard.

5.2. Guaranteed shelf life of starch - 2 years from the date of production.
