08kp, 08ps, 08, 10kp, 10ps, 10, 15ps, 15kp, 15, 20kp, 20ps, 20, 25, 30, 35, 40, 45
(carbon quality structural steel) 20X, 3OX, 40X (structural alloy steel)

The chemical composition of high-quality carbon structural steel must comply with the standards of GOST 1050-88, alloyed structural steel - GOST 4543-71, spring-spring carbon and alloy steel - GOST 14959.
Depending on the standardized characteristics, rolled products are produced in three categories:
1 - by chemical composition;
2 - by chemical composition and hardness;
3 - in terms of chemical composition, mechanical properties and hardness - for sheets up to 80 mm thick and strips.
The category is specified in the order; in the absence of instructions, the category is set by the manufacturer.
Rolled sheets up to 80 mm thick and broadband products are produced by:
- without heat treatment;
- heat-treated - T (annealed, normalized, high tempered).
In terms of shape, dimensions and maximum deviations, rolled products must meet the requirements of:
GOST 19903-74 - for hot-rolled sheet;
GOST 82-70 - for universal hot-rolled broadband steel (with rib curvature of the usual manufacturing accuracy - class B).
Symbol example: hot-rolled sheet with dimensions 6x700x6000 mm, normal rolling accuracy (B), normal flatness (PN) according to GOST 19903-74, from steel grade 20, category 2, thermally wrapped (T):
GOST 1577-93 applies to hot-rolled thick-plate and wide-strip products made of high-quality structural non-alloyed and alloyed steel.

2 Standards of mechanical properties for rolled steel grade 30 are given for thicknesses up to 63 mm.

3 The sign "+" means that the characteristic is determined for the data set. The results are recorded in the quality document.

5.4 Rolled products are subjected to acceptance tests.

5.5 To check the quality of the batch of rolled products are selected:

1) for chemical analysis - samples according to GOST 7565.

The manufacturer carries out control of the chemical composition in the ladle test, if necessary - in the finished product;

2) for surface quality control - all sheets, rolls and strips;

3) for dimensional control - two sheets, rolls or strips, for sheet-by-sheet rolling - all sheets, rolls or strips;

4) for shape control - two sheets, rolls or strips;

5) to control hardness and mechanical properties, macrostructure, cold bending tests - one sheet, roll or one strip.

When delivering rolled products in a heat-treated state, control sheets are taken from the middle of the charge. During heat treatment of rolled products in continuous thermal furnaces, control sheets are selected at random.

From rolled products made on continuous rolling mills and not requiring heat treatment, samples are taken from the outer coil of the coil.

5.6 It is allowed for a batch of rolled products to apply the results of tests of sheets, coils and strips made of steel of the same heat for macrostructure and mechanical properties obtained on batches of rolled products of large thicknesses, to apply to batches of rolled products of smaller thicknesses.

5.7 Upon receipt of unsatisfactory test results for at least one of the indicators, repeated tests are carried out in accordance with GOST 7566.

6 Test methods

6.1 Chemical analysis of steel is carried out in accordance with GOST 28473, GOST 22536.0 - GOST 22536.10, GOST 12344 - GOST 12352, GOST 12354, GOST 12357, GOST 12360 or other methods that provide the necessary accuracy of determination.

For steel from continuous casting plants, the difference in mass fraction of carbon and manganese in the batch is determined by ladle analysis.

6.2 Geometrical dimensions and flatness are determined using measuring instruments in accordance with GOST 26877, GOST 162, GOST 166, GOST 427, GOST 7502 or instruments certified in accordance with GOST 8.001 or GOST 8.326.

The thickness of rolled products is measured at a distance of at least 100 mm from the ends and 40 mm from the edges.

6.3 Sampling for mechanical testing according to the table Table 3 and technological tests are carried out in accordance with GOST 7564.

Sampling for mechanical tests according to tables Table 5 and Table 6 is carried out in accordance with Appendix Appendix 2.

6.4 The quality of the rolled surface is controlled visually. Rental for the absence of delaminations is controlled by inspection of the edges and ends without the use of magnifying devices. It is allowed to use devices of the IGT-10NK type or other devices of a similar class. With visual detection of delamination, the quality of rolled products is additionally checked by removing chips. In this case, the bifurcation of the chips is a sign of metal discontinuity.

It is allowed for the consumer to control the absence of delamination after cutting.

6.5 From each sheet, roll or strip selected for inspection:

for tensile and bending tests - one sample each;

for impact bending tests - two samples from rolled products with a thickness of 5 mm or more;

to check the macrostructure - one transverse template 250 mm long from the middle part of the width of the rolled products;

to test the hardness - two samples each: one from the edge, the other from the middle part of the rolled width;

to control the depth of the decarburized layer - one sample from the edge of the width of the rolled product.

6.6 Tensile test is carried out according to GOST 1497.

Specimens for testing the mechanical properties of wide strip (see table Table 3), supplied without heat treatment, are made from normalized billets 25 mm thick. With a strip thickness of less than 25 mm, normalization is carried out on blanks equal to the strip thickness.

6.7 Tensile and impact test specimens (see tables Table 5 and Table 6) are cut from heat-treated blanks in the size specified by the consumer.

6.8 Bending test is carried out in accordance with GOST 14019.

6.10 Impact bending test is carried out in accordance with GOST 9454 on samples of types 1, 2, 3 and 11. The mode of heat treatment of blanks (samples) to determine impact strength at a temperature of minus 20 ºС, minus 40 ºС or minus 50 °С of rolled products from calm steel grades set by agreement between the manufacturer and the consumer.

6.11 Hardness determination is carried out according to GOST 9012.

6.12 The macrostructure control is carried out by the etching method according to GOST 10243. The manufacturer can guarantee the requirements for the macrostructure without control.

The methodology and scales for monitoring the macrostructure of rolled products in thicknesses of more than 10 mm are established by agreement between the manufacturer and the consumer.

6.13 Determination of the depth of the decarburized layer is carried out according to GOST 1763.

6.14 Ultrasonic testing is carried out according to GOST 22727.

6.15 To control the macrostructure, mechanical properties, hardness and decarburized layer, it is allowed to use non-destructive and statistical methods control according to the methodology approved in the prescribed manner.

In technically justified cases, at the request of the consumer, mechanical properties are controlled in accordance with GOST 1497 and GOST 9454.

7 Transport and storage

7.1 Transportation and storage - according to GOST 7566.

7.2 Rolled products are transported by all types of transport in accordance with the rules for the carriage of goods in force for this type of transport.
