In Sonic Riders: Zero Gravity, when you win a race, he says "Nothing can scare me!". In Sonic the Hedgehog (2006) and Sonic 3, Silver commonly refers to Iblis' monsters and Eggman's robots as "garbage", referring to himself in a smug tone when defeating them.

When Silver meets someone who gets in his way, especially in Sonic Rivals and Sonic Rivals 2, he can be very short-tempered and a little overbearing towards anyone who is clearly not helping him in his mission, and sometimes even becomes hostile and starts a fight with the unlucky character.

Story

Silver has three conflicting backstories for Sonic the Hedgehog (2006). The game's website states that he comes from a happy future that has not been destroyed, and in the past it appears that he has learned that his future will be destroyed, and therefore wants to stop this process. It is implied in the game manual that Silver starts in the present and ends in the future, in which he finds out that his world was destroyed during the events of Sonic the Hedgehog and goes looking for something that will destroy the future of his world and returns to past. According to the original story shown in the game, Silver lives in a ruined future and goes into the past to change the future for the better.

Past

Silver is at least two hundred or more years old in the future of Sonic's world. In Sonic the Hedgehog (2006), when Sonic, Tails, and Knuckles are exploring the city he lives in, Knuckles says, "How can this be our future?"

For the second and third time, the player discovers that Silver's world is the future of Sonic's world in Sonic Rivals and Sonic Rivals 2, respectively. Right before Eggman Nega turns this world into a card, Silver states in no uncertain terms, "What?! But that would mean my future would also be destroyed!” In Sonic Rivals 2, he tells Espio and Knuckles "I have to save your world or my world will be destroyed as well!"

The creation of a character named Silver began in the early stages of development of Sonic the Hedgehog (2006), when the development team was still making huge levels with several options for their passage. Silver is a hedgehog from a future where telekinesis is a common occurrence. Silver has a sense of justice distinguishing feature his personality, which helped him return to the past in order to fix the future. He can also stand up for himself and others, knows how to protect the weak. Like, for example, he stood up for Blaze when she was teased about her abilities. Silver and Blaze finally realized that Mephiles had deceived them, and help Sonic save Alice, but they came too late. The Eggkerier that Alice was in exploded, but with the help of Chaos Control, they traveled back in time for a few minutes and saved Alice. In "Last Story", Mephiles kills Sonic and Alice cries, thus releasing Iblis. Mephiles merges with Iblis and they become the monster Solaris. But then Sonic was revived with the Chaos Emeralds and Alice's kiss.

All three hedgehogs Sonic, Shadow and Silver in their super forms destroyed Solaris, who again turned into flames. Sonic and Alice went back in time and blew out that flame. Thus, they erased all the events of the game "Sonic the Hedgehog", that is, what I just told was not. Nobody remembers anything about it. But despite the fact that the event "Sonic the Hedgehog" was not, Silver is not a one-day event. He also appeared in Sonic Rivals and Sonic Rivals 2.
