Pros: I have been working at the YES center for a long time. The salary suits, and there is an opportunity to improve qualifications for free and get more. The money is higher than in other schools in Moscow. The work is responsible, but interesting, with children and adults we communicate in English in a playful way. You can choose a work schedule for yourself, there are daytime, evening and weekend groups. The center has many partners with bonuses for employees, for example, a pizzeria gives good discounts. It’s a sin to complain about working conditions, everything is available educational equipment in the classrooms and a separate room for our rest and snack.

The rate of 500 rubles per academic hour is standard, but I was not given details about employment and was not allowed to familiarize myself with employment contract. Important point: strict dress code. After the interview, it turned out that, in fact, the school was primarily looking for a teacher in a children's language camp for the summer and was ready to pay 1,000 rubles for 4 hours of work. For me it was very little, so I refused further prospects for cooperation. It was also unpleasant for me that at the interview I was told how to do my job and there was little conversation on the case.

I see no reason to cooperate with a company that cannot maintain the simplest everyday dialogue and immediately switches to an elevated, "collector" tone. Also, I sincerely do not understand why Yes courses condone situations where a person who does not have even the slightest specialization and has grown up only to work in a call center puts himself above a teacher who knows several foreign languages and in general, leading the work much more difficult and intellectual than cold calls. In the end, let me drop the phrase that people like to reproach so much: "You get paid for this." Dear parents, future students of Yes courses, keep in mind that in fact the competitive selection of teachers for you in these courses is not carried out by qualified personnel, but by a simple telephone operator.
