Engineer for organizing the operation of power equipment: higher vocational (technical) education without presenting requirements for work experience or secondary vocational (technical) education and work experience as a technician for the operation of power equipment of category I for at least 3 years or in other positions filled by specialists with secondary vocational (technical) education, at least 5 years.

1.5. The engineer for the organization of the operation of power equipment must know:

  • organizational and administrative, regulatory, methodological documents on the operation of equipment;

  • Rules for working with personnel in organizations of the electric power industry of the Russian Federation;
  • regulations and instructions for the investigation and recording of accidents and other technological violations, industrial accidents;
  • schemes, designs, characteristics, technical and economic indicators and features of operation under normal, emergency, post-accident and repair modes of operation of the serviced equipment and devices;
  • basic wiring diagrams and others technological schemes serviced power facilities;
  • basic schemes for building an automated process control system of an organization;
  • software operating rules technical means APCS;
  • methodological bases for evaluating the effectiveness of investments in projects for the expansion, reconstruction and modernization of equipment for power plants, electrical and thermal networks;

2. Job responsibilities

Engineer for the organization of operation of power equipment performs the following labor functions:

2.1. Provides organizational and technical support for the full cycle or individual stages of operation (use for its intended purpose, research and diagnostics of the technical condition, maintenance and restoration of working capacity) of the equipment assigned to it power plants.

2.2. Keeps records and analysis of technical and economic indicators of work, defectiveness of components, parts, equipment structures, the presence of emergency and fire hazards on the equipment.

2.3. Prepares proposals for optimizing operating modes, modernizing the design, implementing organizational and technical measures aimed at improving the level of technical operation, efficiency of operation and safety of equipment maintenance.

2.4. Prepares draft plans, schedules, programs for inspections, repairs, maintenance, adjustment and testing of equipment, as well as schedules for decommissioning and putting it into operation (start-up).

2.5. Conducts rounds of equipment and workplaces of personnel servicing equipment of power plants, monitors the operating modes and technical condition of the equipment, compliance by personnel with the requirements of the rules for technical operation, labor protection, fire safety, identifies and records in the log books identified malfunctions, deviations from the requirements of rules and instructions.

2.6. Participates in inspections of equipment, buildings and structures to be repaired, prepares defective sheets, work plans and other accounting, technological and design repair documentation, controls the quality of repairs.

2.7. Participates in the preparation of technical specifications for the design of construction, expansion, reconstruction, technical re-equipment of energy facilities and equipment modernization.

2.9. Prepares and makes changes to electrical, thermal and other technological schemes, instructions and recommendations on equipment operation modes.

2.10. Performs calculations to determine the need, draws up applications for equipment, spare parts, tools, fixtures, fittings and other material resources necessary to carry out the planned scope of work, complete and replenish emergency supplies, as well as orders for the preparation of design documentation, drawings, diagrams , acquisition of regulatory and methodological documents, production of non-standard products.

2.11. Controls the implementation of applications (orders), the timely receipt of products and documentation at the workplaces of personnel, the correctness of spending and storing material assets.

2.12. Compiles and amends the job and production instructions for personnel servicing the equipment.

2.13. Participates in start-ups and shutdowns of equipment.

2.14. Prepares and submits for consideration to the management of the electric power industry organization applications for the decommissioning of equipment for diagnostic, adjustment, repair and other work on it, as well as orders and instructions for their implementation, participates in the performance of work as a co-executor or supervisor.

2.15. Conducts briefings, participates in the training of personnel servicing equipment, emergency and fire drills, civil defense classes and training of personnel actions in case of emergency situations, days and hours of safety (TB), reviews and competitions of professional skills, attestation of workplaces, technical certification of equipment.

2.16. Keeps technical passports, accounting logs, stores technical and project documentation of equipment.

2.17. Participates in the work of commissions for the acceptance of equipment from repair and installation, checking the knowledge of personnel, investigating the causes of accidents and other technological violations, accidents.

2.18. Prepares reports, certificates on the operation of equipment.

2.19. Participates in the introduction of new equipment and advanced operating technology, new tasks and technical means of automated control systems technological processes(APCS).

In case of official necessity, an engineer for organizing the operation of power equipment may be involved in the performance of his official duties overtime, in the manner prescribed by the provisions of federal labor legislation.

3. Rights

Engineer for the organization of operation of power equipment has the right to:

4. Responsibility and performance evaluation

4.1. An engineer for the organization of the operation of power equipment bears administrative, disciplinary and material (and in some cases provided for by the legislation of the Russian Federation - and criminal) responsibility for:

4.1.1. Non-fulfillment or improper fulfillment of official instructions of the immediate supervisor.

4.2.1. The immediate supervisor - regularly, in the course of the daily implementation by the employee of his labor functions.

4.2.2. Certification Commission enterprises - periodically, but at least once every two years based on the documented results of work for the evaluation period.

5. Working conditions

5.1. The work schedule of an engineer for organizing the operation of power equipment is determined in accordance with the internal labor regulations established by the Company.
