Children's reading club in the library. "The whole family to the library": Guidelines for the work of libraries to help family reading. Approximate lesson plan in the library with parents and children

  • 18.07.2020

The Family Reading Club "Meeting with a Book" is one of the forms of joint activity of a teacher, parents and students. I am convinced that today the revival of family reading as a cultural norm for the development of a child is one of the most important tasks of the school. Realizing the significance of this problem, I have developed and the program of the family reading club "Meeting with a book" was tested. Without duplicating other types of reading, family reading allows the child to see a person close to him as an enthusiastic reader. The child will see that books are present in the life of parents, that this is the norm of his family's life. In addition, participation in the work of the club will create a creative atmosphere at home and, to some extent, eliminate family conflicts. Reading literary works, performing tasks of a creative nature will enable adults not only to participate in the development and upbringing of children in the family, but also to develop their erudition. The family reading club will stimulate the desire of parents to read books together, to communicate about what they have read.

1. Pedagogical expediency creation

Today, the world around our children is not at all like the one it was just a few years ago. The education system has changed, new opportunities for spending free time for children have appeared. new toys, technical means, food, etc. create a new outlook on life for both children and parents. Year by year, students' interest in reading is declining. The book is being pushed out modern technologies, interest in reading decreases. In many families of students there is no tradition of family reading. Children sometimes master the computer before they learn to read, they navigate the keyboard better than in the table of contents of the book.

Many parents are unaware of the dangers of the current situation. And often you cannot blame them - they simply do not have enough knowledge, there is no elementary pedagogical culture. In many families, the book ceases to be a topic of conversation, home libraries disappear. Non-reading parents raise non-reading children. Introducing a child to a book is impossible without the help of the family, since it is the parents who act as the first and main intermediaries between the book and the child, choose and buy children's publications, advise the child what is better to read, and thus have a decisive influence on the formation of a circle of reading, tastes and children's preferences. But, unfortunately, it is far from always possible for a child to talk about a book he has read, to find out the parental attitude towards it, and not all parents are ready to suggest to the child the book he needs, the book that would answer his requests at that very moment. , would affect emotional sphere, aroused interest. Therefore, the idea of a family reading club was born. It is designed to help parents establish communication with children, suggest books that will interest both adults and children, unite them and push them to talk about what they have read, about life in general.

I am convinced that today the revival of family reading as a cultural norm for the development of a child is one of the most important tasks. Realizing the importance of this problem, I developed and tested the program of the family reading club “Meeting with a book”.

Without duplicating other types of reading - classroom, extra-curricular, family reading allows the child to see a person close to him with enthusiastic reading.

The family reading club will stimulate the desire of parents to read the book together, to communicate about what they have read, which will certainly bring family members closer and unite them spiritually.

The work of the family library

Family work can be organized in conditions public libraries any type. Recently, the issue of the need to create special libraries serving the information needs of the family has been discussed.

Specialized libraries that work with the family, called family reading libraries, family leisure libraries, are created in settlements with a well-developed library network, usually in big cities. Sometimes it is possible to single out a specialized branch of family reading within the framework of a centralized rural-type library system. The need to create specialized branches is decided in each case, depending on local conditions. Such a branch receives a priority right to complete publications on family topics, on the organization of family life, housekeeping, household chores, issues of raising children and other aspects. family life. Working with parents "Family Reading Club - Chitayushka or Children's Universe on the Bookshelf".

upbringing reader A lot of research has been devoted to schoolchildren. As for the preschooler, the situation is more complicated. This is probably due to the fact that age features his considered not a reader, but by the listener. But it is precisely in school age stereotypes are formed reader, among which there are also negative (at school age they are more difficult to correct).Reading and discussing books with children that describe situations similar to those that take place in real life children, is an element of correctional work -"bibliotherapy" ("treatment" book). Let's give some examples. If a preschooler is accustomed to treat reading only as for entertainment, but for those who love it "pulp" are comics, then to educate such a child thoughtful reader, for which reading is serious business, complicated. If in the family the child is constantly forced read resorting to punishment, he will perceive reading as a boring duty and a creative, interested reader it won't work out. preschoolers "seriously" everyone perceives read and seen, and if you do not form a critical perception, it is likely that they will copy negative patterns, imitate negative characters, i.e., they will begin to form inadequate behavior patterns. For example, in many fairy tales, evil is punished, and severely. And if a child misunderstands a fairy tale (its meaning, the actions of the main characters, etc.), an aggressive model of behavior may form in him. Therefore, works and life events should be intertwined. The book should help a person analyze what is happening.

Love for art, literature is connected with a person's love for the word in general. That is why real literature should enter the life of a child at a time when his speech is formed and developed. Preschoolers are receptive, able to deeply feel the literary text, therefore, those who fell in love with them in the early childhood literary images will stay with them for years to come.

Fiction should occupy an important place in a child's life. Introduction to the book is one of the main tasks of the artistic and aesthetic education of a preschooler. Acquaintance with the samples of fiction and folklore available to him should begin from the first years of life.

It is known that preschool childhood- a defining stage in the development of a personality, because at the age of 6 years a child learns the world around him with interest, "imbued" different impressions, learns the norms of behavior of others, imitates, including the heroes of books.

As a result of familiarization with the book, the heart of the child is ennobled, his mind is improved. The book helps to master speech - the key to understanding the world around us, nature, things, human relations. Frequent reading literary texts, its skillful combination with life observations and various types children's activities contribute to the child's comprehension of the world around him, teach him to understand and love the beautiful, lay the foundations of morality.

So every preschooler is reader. Even if he can't read but only listening adult reading, he chooses what he will listen to; he perceives what he hears, evaluates it. But the child does not know how read and perceive a book only from an adult - a teacher, mother, father. From how he read a book depends on its effect on the child. Even good, entertaining book may not cause any emotions in the child, pass him without a trace, if parent did not invest in their reading or the telling of feelings, a lively interest in the book, if he himself is indifferent to the ingenuous fate of the hero, and its plot, images, language. Active participation parents allows the child to feel genuine interest parents to his life. BUT parents in the process of interacting with the child, at the same time, they learn to better understand him.

There was a tradition in noble families family reading aloud: in the evening the whole family gathered at the table, someone read aloud, then read discussed. In some families, this tradition has been preserved to this day, but, unfortunately, it is becoming more and more a thing of the past. Today parents sometimes they are only interested in those pedagogical means that stimulate the child to master the exact sciences, and the centuries-old tradition of communicating with a preschooler in the family with the help of nursery rhymes, songs, fairy tales, games is not underestimated and is replaced by watching TV shows and listening to audio recordings. Facilities mass media supplanted or almost supplanted such a traditional form of communication between older and younger in the family as family reading. Will evoke completely different responses book if it is presented to a child parent, passionate children's literature who watches the appearance of each new book, knows how to evaluate it as a work of art, knows children's literature and wants to know it even better. This implies the special importance of the expressive, emotional presentation of a literary work.

What do you need to know parents about children's book?

First of all, he must remember its enormous educational value. An art book is a powerful tool for shaping a child's personality, the ability to distinguish bad from good, and not only to distinguish, but also, to the best of one's childish abilities, to defend the good, not to put up with evil.

Parents should know that the impact of a book on a child does not happen at lightning speed, that this is a slow and painstaking process, and there is no need to expect instant results. But if the guys in children's garden and home systematically read good books, it will inevitably give its results.

Having studied the problem and relevance family reading, the idea of organizing a family reading club was born« Reader» . Our goal work began not only to provide parents assistance in introducing children preschool age with fiction, to instill in children a love for the word of art, respect for the book, but also to help adults master the basic skills of artistic reading and storytelling, as well as the ability to analyze the work.

4. To develop a poetic ear in children and adults (to help capture the sonority, musicality, rhythm of poetic speech, intonational expressiveness of speech, the ability to feel an artistic image.

5. Educate in the preschooler of the future reader - student.

At the next meeting club moms and dads themselves try read using various means of expression. Then the meetings take place in the form of a round table «» (children + parents + caregivers where the analysis and discussion of works of art takes place. Books stay with us forever...

We love the book...

We are the children who came into the world to know it and ourselves in it. We look with admiration at a miracle - a book, we expect that the book will reveal to us the secret of the world and help us understand a person.

We are adults who strive to comprehend the depth of the book, know and remember childhood, understand their responsibility as intermediaries between the writer - the creator of the book and the child to whom it is addressed. Loving the book, believing in the power of the word, we strive for co-creation with the author - as readers, as performers.

We are educators. Without simplifying the depths of the writer's thought and the author's feeling, we must be able to talk with children about the book, help the baby grow to understand it, grow up, and gain experience. In doing so, we rely on the main advantage childhood The ability to empathize sharply and deeply.

We, children and adults, love books. It helps us to get to know and understand each other better, helping adults to remember about childhood, where they all come from, enlightened, exalted, and for children the path to adulthood was not so thorny.

We love the book, which means that we strive to create a cult of the Book. For childhood inevitably leaves us, and books remain with us forever...
